Comrie to miss Prospects Game

Eric Comrie will not take to the ice at the CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.

The Tri City Americans goaltender will miss the affair, showcasing 40 of the top draft eligibles from the Canadian Hockey League, with an undisclosed injury. The Newport Beach, CA product has missed the Americans’ last two games and last played January 9th against the Kamloops Blazers, turning aside 34 of 35 shots in a 3-1 win.

In 37 games this season, Comrie is 20-14-1-2 with a 2.62 goals against average and .915 save percentage.

Taking his place in the crease is Philippe Desrosiers of the Rimouski Oceanic, who has a 19-7-0-4 recor this season with one shutout and a goals-against-average of 2.97 and save percentage of .905, leading all QMJHL rookies.
