Cole Cassels of the Oshawa Generals will be heading to Halifax to compete in the CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.

The son of former NHL forward Andrew, Cassels will draw in for the injured William Carrier of the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, who could miss up to the next three weeks after suffering a lower-body injury. In 39 games this season, Cassels has 10 goals and 26 points.

Carrier, who has 16 goals and 42 points in 34 games this season, joins injured defenseman Ryan Pulock as members of the 2013 NHL Draft class set to miss the game due to injury. Pulock suffered a chipped bone in his wrist that is expected to keep him out of the Brandon Wheat Kings lineup for another two weeks. Jordan Subban was named as Pulock’s replacement.
