The Regina Pats have dealt defenseman Myles Bell to the Kelowna Rockets.

The Rockets acquired the 18-year-old in exchange for defenceman Colton Jobke, a second round WHL bantam draft pick in 2012 and a fifth round pick in 2013.

Bell, who had 14 goals and 45 points in 66 games last season, is expected to be in Kelowna’s lineup to open the season.

The Calgary, AB. native was passed over in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

The six-foot, 189-pound Jobke had one goal and 10 points in 51 games last season. He was signed to an entry-level deal by the Minnesota Wild last September.
