2012 draft eligible forward Pontus Aberg will not participate in the World Junior Championship after sustaining an injury in an exhibition game against Canada.

Aberg was injured on a hit in Sweden’s final pre-tournament tune up Friday.

He will be replaced by Jeremy Boyce-Rotevall.
