Brodan Salmond’s perfect week was rewarded by the Canadian Hockey League.

Salmond, eligible for the 2017 NHL Draft, was named CHL goaltender of the week after posting a 2-0-0-0 record with two shutouts along with a goals against average of 0.00 and a save percentage of 1.000 for the Kelowna Rockets.

The 18-year-old made 41 saves in a home-and-home series with the Vancouver Giants, stopping 22 shots on Friday, and adding an additional 18 saves on Saturday.

Salmond is 9-7-1-0 with a 2.76 goals against average and .896 save percentage in 18 games this season.
