Reinhart to represent WHL at Super Series

Sam Reinhart will represent the Western Hockey League at the Subway Super Series.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound forward the lone first-time draft eligible representing the WHL. Reinhart is currently second in Future Considerations’ November ranking for the 2014 NHL Draft. He will be joined by Colby Cave and Kootenay Ice teammate Jaedon Descheneau, who went undrafted in the 2013 NHL Draft.

It will be Reinhart’s second time skating in the event. He scored the decisive shootout goal in Game 5 of the series a year ago.

In 17 games this season, the 17-year-old has nine goals and 28 points.
