Reinhart named Pacific4 Forward of the Month

CALGARY, AB — Future Considerations Hockey today announced Sam Reinhart of the Kootenay Ice as the Pacific4 Sports Management draft eligible forward of the month for February.

Reinhart, a product of Vancouver, BC, was perfect in February, recording points in each of his 13 games in the month, pushing his consecutive point scoring streak to 22 contests. The 18-year-old amassed 10 goals and 32 points in February, including nine multi-point efforts.

“Sam Reinhart has continued to dominate the WHL and took it to another level in February,” Future Considerations’ WHL head scout Zenon Herasymiuk said. “He has consistently displayed the hockey sense, poise, high-end skill, and character that will make him a successful NHL player.”

Reinhart’s run has helped push him into fourth in the Western Hockey League scoring race with 34 goals and 94 points in just 53 games.

Also considered for the award was Nikolaj Ehlers of the Halifax Mooseheads. The Aalborg, Denmark native had eight goals and 20 points in 11 games in February.
