Rankings Rewind: FC’s 9th overalls

With the 9th overall selection in the National Hockey League Draft, Future Considerations selects…

Colin Wilson.

The Nashville Predators’ first pick, seventh overall in 2008 has started to develop into the player general manager David Poile had hoped with the selection.

After a two-year stint at Boston University, Wilson turned pro at the start of the 2009-10 season and split time between Nashville and the Milwaukee Admirals — the Predators’ AHL affiliate. Since 2010, he’s been a full time NHLer and has 46 goals and 103 points in 210 career games in Nashville.

Wilson really started to turn the corner in the shortened season, recording 19 points in an injury-plagued season that saw him play just 25 games.
