With the 26th overall selection in the National Hockey League Draft, Future Considerations selects…

…Zac Dalpe.

The Carolina Hurricanes prospect was the second player selected out of the British Columbia Hockey League in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft and after three strong years with the Charlotte Checkers, appears to be ready to challenge with the big club next season.

The 23-year-old has five goals and 10 points in 41 career NHL games.
