…Mark Pysyk.

Just two years removed from his draft day, the 21-year-old has already built a formidable resume which includes captaining the Edmonton Oil Kings to an ed Chynoweth Cup as Western Hockey League champions in 2012. The title came just months after the Sherwood Park, AB product helped Canada to a bronze medal at the 2012 World Junior Championship.

In his first year of professional hockey, Pysyk excelled. He recorded four goals — including scoring in his first game — and 18 points in 57 games with the Rochester Americans. He also played 19 games with the Sabres in the shortened season, recording a goal and four assists.
