Aaron Vickers2016 Draft Center

With the 10th overall selection in the National Hockey League Draft, Future Considerations selects…

Mika Zibanejad.

The Ottawa Senators first rounder has played just parts of two seasons in the NHL but has already started to show justification of his sixth overall selection. The Huddinge, SWE product has seven goals and 21 points in 51 career games with the Senators, but perhaps his biggest contribution came at the 2012 World Junior Championship.

In overtime with the Russians with gold on the line, Zibanejad scored the golden goal to lift the Swedes to their first World Junior title since 1981.
