A big goalie with great net coverage and solid positioning in goal…strong mobility in net, getting across the crease quickly but also in control…quick and nimble for his size and build…square to the shooter where his natural size covered a lot of net both in the stand-up and butterfly positions…solid coverage down-low sealing the ice off effectively and is quick to pop up when he drops down into his butterfly…has some issues cleanly handling shots with his glove hand as well as some inconsistencies with rebound control…great at stopping second and third chances due to his athleticism…shows no quit in net and competes hard….able to recover well in net even though he looks scrambly at times…it will take time for him to round out his game and be ready for the pro game…NHL teams that need a goalie might like the upside that this tall, lanky stopper brings.  (November 2016)
