The energetic two-way forward has a good shot with a great quick release. He is always looking to create offence and with solid hockey sense, impressive vision and outstanding speed he is always dangerous whenever he is on the ice. Blessed with a good work ethic Dalpe has worked hard to prove doubters wrong when he was dubbed as too small by many. He handles the puck well and can also set-up his line mates with his good playmaking ability. He is also willing to battle for pucks along the boards and drive then net when the opportunity presents itself. Dalpe likes to shot the puck and is primarily a finisher. He is strong on the dot as well. He loves to have the puck on his stick. (May 2008)
