Sbisa has had a very impressive first year in North America. He has adjusted well and displayed elements of physical play and quick decision making on the smaller ice surface. He has good offensive skills with his on-ice vision, passing ability and a decent shot but his main strength is his poise when carrying the puck. He is at his best when he is not trying to do too much and plays a steady safe game within his limits. He skates well with a fluid smooth stride and good fist step acceleration. Defensively he displays solid positioning and reads. (May 2008)
