Beach is a power forward in the making, Beach has a very good mix of skill and physical attributes. He has good hand skills and a very hard, accurate shot which he gets off quickly. His anticipation and vision as well as his playmaking abilities are all strengths. With his competitiveness he will go through a wall for you and back again. He has a tendency to get under the skin of the opposition and likes the fisticuffs. He plays the body well and has the ability to deliver punishing open ice hits. Kyle’s hard work in the corners and on the cycle is a tremendous strength as are his puck protection abilities. Loves to drive the net, can make skilled plays in tight areas and punish defenders who try to stop him. He plays defensively responsible. (May 2008)
