The speedy and skilled winger has outstanding vision, is a hard worker and is a big game player. He has a good shot that he gets off quickly and can score from many different ways. Jokinen is creative and handles the puck well in traffic. He is an athletic prospect who has good passing abilities but is projected as a goal scorer in the professional ranks. Jokinen needs to add a whole lot of muscle and strength to his wiry frame. He has some games where he has been outstanding and a few that he has not. Consistency is an area that will need to improve upon as NHL teams like their top line players playing every night. (May 2008)
