A hard-working, high energy forward…is a shifty, undersized player who is very agile and moves well with the play…displays agility and speedy skating ability…uses his quick steps and acceleration to make quick turns in the corners and shake off defenders…does not shy away to battle it out against bigger opponents…is tenaciousness and gritty…possesses a quick release and has soft hands…surveys the ice well and gets his passes through with some mustard on them…tenacious on the puck…uses his speed to create havoc in the offensive end, sneaking into passing lanes and disrupting opposing breakout attempts as he creates turnovers…stockier frame that he uses to get into battles quick and chip at the puck…a very strong lower body and is tough to move off the puck…willing to go to the net hard and fight in the corners…can be too eager at times defensively and pull himself out of position…doesn’t mind the physical game one bit…with his offensive skill, speed and high-motor he looks like an eventual third line centre at the pro level.  (November 2016)
