With bursts of speed and great elusiveness, Eberle has the ability to get to the open on the ice and areas where the puck will be. He possesses good hockey sense and on ice vision. He handles the puck well and drives to the net when he has it. Eberle has a hard wrist shot which he gets off quickly and usually find the back of the net as he is a natural goal scorer. He is defensively responsible by consistently coming back and breaking up plays on the back check. Eberle competes hard, has a good team attitude and wants to win. (May 2008)
