Colborne has a strong and balanced stride. His on ice vision is awesome and it allows him to best utilize his playmaking abilities. Colborne is a very rangy player who can stickhandle effectively and also use his good shot to score goals although he looks to pass first and foremost. He has good hockey sense and is a very team oriented guy. He has great size with which to grow into and should only get better with time and added strength. Joe is a smart and observant player who makes those around him better. He has the potential to be a game breaker. (May 2008)
