The strong power forward is all about driving the net and playing physical wherever he can. Livingston skates well for his size although he could use improvement in his foot speed. He has soft hands and the innate ability to go to the net, take a pounding, find the puck and get a scoring chance in close. He is a fearless physical presence who always finished his checks. The aggressive winger drives hard to the net and battles in the corners. Skill wise he is not as refined as some more flashy prospects but he contributes by doing the dirty jobs. He has a good shot that is hard and accurate and he has good puck protection skills. He possesses good hockey sense and instincts on where to go on the ice without the puck. Livingston is a motivated and intense competitor who has the drive to win. (May 2008)
