Tokarski has the ability to just always be in the right position and uses his body to stop pucks. He has great mobility in the crease both laterally and vertical plus he plays his angles very well. He possesses a really quick glove hand and shows great focus through his play. He sees the puck well through traffic and controls his rebounds effectively. Tokarski is a naturally gifted goaltender as the position is deeply rooted in his family genes with his father and uncles playing the position before him. (May 2008)
