A big body who plays a solid safe brand of defense first hockey…skates well and has good all-encompassing mobility…has good first step acceleration…plays the body not the puck and does so  with a physical edge…has a health reach to disrupt the opposition along the wall…has a decent shot when he gets the chance to use it…makes strong outlet passes.  His offensive game at the next level will be limited out outlet passes and the odd long range shot as he does not have good offensive instincts or much vision…could use some added strength.
