Has the skill and offensive instincts to create plays…he skates well and has a good top end speed as well as first step quickness…has a good change of pace which throws off defenders playing him one-on-one…has a good shot that is accurate and quick…can handle the puck with soft hands and has the patience to draw defender to him before astutely distributing the puck to an open teammate…has good deke moves and can beat a goalie in a number of ways. Lacks size and strength to play against larger opponents and when pushed to the perimeter his game becomes less effective. (May 2009)
