The smallish forward has natural finishing abilities…he reads the play well and gets to open ice…very shifty and hard to track…has a great shot that is very powerful for his size…plays a gritty and driven game…has decent passing skills…willing to battle with bigger opponents. Has a tendency to give a solid effort in the offensive zone but not so much in the defensive zone…lacks prototypical size and strength…his playmaking abilities and puck skills are lacking. (May 2009)
