Five months ago, the Toronto Maple Leafs made Stuart Percy a first round pick. Today, they signed the 25th overall selection to a three year, entry-level contract.

Percy has three goals and 17 points in 18 games for the Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors this season. The defenseman also suited up for Team OHL in the Subway Super Series and is a candidate to represent Canada at the 2012 World Junior Championship.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
