Antoine Morand played a starring role for the Acadie-Bathurst Titan last week.

He’s been rewarded appropriately.

Morand, 37th in Future Considerations’ Winter ranking for the 2017 NHL Draft, was named the first star of the week in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League after recording three goals and four assists with a plus-6 rating in three games.

The 18-year-old had two assists in an 8-7 overtime victory against the Saint John Sea Dogs on Wednesday. He followed it up by adding another two assists to help the Titan to a 3-2 win against the Halifax Mooseheads.

Morand netted a hat-trick in a 6-3 win against the Sherbrooke Phoenix on Sunday to cap his week.

In 59 games this season, Morand has 24 goals and 67 points.
