Morand added to Team QMJHL

Antoine Morand will get the opportunity to go up against Russia.

Morand, along with Thomas Chabotand and Alexandre Alain, has been added to Team QMJHL’s roster for the 2016 CIBC Canada Russia Series. Pascal Laberge and Jérémy Roy, previously named to the team, will be unable to participate because of injury.

Morand has nine goals and 24 points in 21 games this season for the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.

The 17-year-old is 35th in Future Considerations’ Fall ranking for the 2017 NHL Draft.

Team QMJHL will face Team Russia in Game 5 of the Canada Russia Series on Nov. 15 at Chicoutimi, QC. The series concludes Nov. 17 at Baie-Comeau.
