The punishment has been dealt out to 2012 NHL Entry Draft eligible Stefan Matteau.
Matteau will receive a one-game suspension for his actions in last Thursday’s loss to the Green Bay Gamblers.
Matteau, who has been suspended for a combined 15 games on two separate incidents with the United States National Team Development Program, accumulated 21 penalty minutes in the game, including a spearing major and a game misconduct with less than a minute remaining in the second period.
Matteau will serve Wednesday when the USNTDP host the Muskegon Lumberjacks at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube in Michigan.
