The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Tuesday that Jamie Devane has been returned to the Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League.
The six-foot-five, 220-pound forward had 19 goals and 38 points in 63 games with the Whalers last season. The 20-year-old added 131 minutes in penalties last year. The 20-year-old was eligible to play in the American Hockey League this season.
Devane was originally selected in the third round, 68th overall in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
