Huberdeau headlines Super Series roster

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League has announced the roster of Team QMJHL for the upcoming Subway Super Series.
The Victoriaville Tigres and the Quebec Remparts organizations, in collaboration with the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and the Canadian Hockey League, today held simultaneous press conferences to announce the roster of Team QMJHL which will compete against Team Russia in the 2011 Subway Super Series.
The Tigres will host the first game of the series on Monday, November 7th at theColisée Desjardins, while the Remparts will host game two at the Colisée Pepsi on Wednesday, November 9th. Then, Team Russia heads west to play two games versus the OHL and WHL All-Stars. All six contests will be televised nationwide on Rogers Sportsnet while TVA Sports will broadcast the two contests in QMJHL territory.
Each of the three CHL member leagues assembled a selection committee, which worked closely with Hockey Canadas Chief Scout, Kevin Prendergast, to select the players for this years series. The QMJHL selection committee included QMJHLs Executive vice-president, Marcel Patenaude, the Director of Hockey Operations, PierreLeduc and the general managers of the Quebec Remparts, Patrick Roy, the Victoriaville Tigres, Jérôme Mésonéro and the Acadie-Bathurst Titan, Sylvain Couturier. A total of twenty-three players will participate in the event this year. The rosters for each game will be announced at a later date.
Among the players selected, the 3rd, 17th, 26th and 28th first round picks of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Jonathan Huberdeau (SNB), Nathan Beaulieu (SNB), Phillip Danault (VIC) and Zack Phillips (SNB) as well as 2nd and 4th round picks Xavier Ouellet (BLB) and Jean-Gabriel Pageau (GAT). It is also worth noting that Drummondville Voltigeurs centre Sean Couturier, will also be included in the roster if he is released by the Philadelphia Flyers.
