If Hunter Garlent was looking to attract some draft attention, consider his goal accomplished this week.

The Guelph Storm forward exploded with three goals and eight points in three weeks of Ontario Hockey League action, earning CHL Player of the Week honours and helping his club to the top spot in the OHL’s Western Conference.

Garlent had struggled to produce early this season. In eight games, the 17-year-old from Thorold, ON scored just once and had two points before his recent exploits.
