The Canadian Hockey League announced Saturday that the Kootenay Ice defenseman has been added to the Team Cherry roster for the 2017 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.

The game will be played Monday at Centre Videotron in Quebec City.

Fleury replaces fellow Western Hockey League blueliner Jarret Tyszka of the Seattle Thunderbirds, who is unable to compete due to injury.

Fleury, 65th in Future Considerations’ Winter ranking for the 2017 NHL Draft, has eight goals and 30 points in 49 games for the Ice this season. He is the younger brother of Carolina Hurricanes first round pick and former Red Deer Rebels defenseman Haydn Fleury.
