Future Considerations announced today Jonathan Drouin of the Halifax Mooseheads has been named draft eligible Forward of the Month for February.
Drouin, who leads all QMJHL scorers this season with 98 points, had an incredible February after posting 11 goals and 17 assists while recording points in all 11 games played in the month.
The Ste-Agathe, QC product currently has points in 26 consecutive games for the Mooseheads this season.
For his efforts, Drouin has been named Future Considerations’ forward of the month.
Also considered for the honour was Kerby Rychel of the Windsor Spitfires. Rychel recorded nine goals and 25 points in 12 Ontario Hockey League games in February and currently sits ninth in league scoring with 35 goals and 79 points in 62 games.
