First, the Ontario Hockey League.

Now the Canadian Hockey League.

After being named the OHL Goaltender of the Week on Monday, Windsor Spitfires stopper Michael DiPietro was named the Vaughn CHL Goaltender of the Week for the week ending December 11 on Tuesday.

DiPietro was perfect in three starts, stopping all 64 shots faced to build a shutout streak of 204:16. All three of DiPietro’s shutouts came on the road, and all three came during the opposition’s annual Teddy Bear Toss promotional nights.

The 17-year-old, who is the top goaltender in Future Considerations’ Fall ranking at 30th overall,  leads the OHL with four shutouts, a 2.11 goals against average and .922 save percentage.
