Forward Maxime Comtois, eligible for the 2017 NHL Draft, will represent Team QMJHL at the 2016 CIBC Canada Russia Series.

Comtois, fifth in Future Considerations’ preliminary ranking for the 2017 NHL Draft, has five goals and eight points in 15 games for the Victoriaville Tigres this season. He also had four goals and five points in four games at the Ivan Hlinka Memorial in August.

Team QMJHL will face Team Russia in Game 5 of the Canada Russia Series on Nov. 15 at Chicoutimi, QC. The series concludes Nov. 17 at Baie-Comeau.
