Compher headlines USA entry at U18’s

JT Compher is set to lead the US Men’s National Under-18 Team into battle at the 2013 World Under-18 Championship from April 18-28 in Sochi, Russia.

Compher finished third in scoring for the National Team Development Program and tops in points-per-game with 10 goals and 21 points in 24 games. He is the top-ranked prospect on the United States entry at 27th in Future Considerations’ March Ranking for the 2013 NHL Draft.

The six-foot, 161-pound forward will be joined by a slough of potential first rounders in the 2013 draft.

Keaton Thompson, among the top-30 in February’s ranking, headlines a defense that also features Tommy Vannelli and Steven Santini – both ranked in the second round at FC’s Midterm.

Hudson Fasching, Tyler Motte and Sean Malone were also ranked in the top-100 at the Midterm.
