Nicklas Jensen has made an impression on his new bosses.

Jensen, selected 29th overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, has been signed to an entry-level contract by the Vancouver Canucks after recording two points in his preseason debut Thursday.

The 18-year-old native of Herning, Denmark had 29 goals and 58 points in 61 games with the Oshawa Generals last season. In 10 playoff games, Jensen had seven goals and 11 points.

The six-foot-three, 186-pound forward is the third member of the 2011 draft class to sign this week after Sean Couturier and Ryan Murphy signed with the Philadelphia Flyers and Carolina Hurricanes respectively.
